Palo Alto, California - (Website Hosting Directory) - November 7, 2008 - The FanSnap search engine for live event tickets, has been launched in public beta format.

The public beta of its site will display the latest ticket-level detail results from more than 50 of the leading ticket providers.Jeff Lapin, President of RazorGator noted, ''We are excited to be a launch partner with the FanSnap team. RazorGator actively markets to fans both offline and online, and we look forward to utilizing this new channel to reach even more fans.''

Mike Janes, CEO of FanSnap remarked, ''We are on a quest to make it fast and easy for fans find sports, concert and theater tickets. The number of ticket providers has exploded, particularly with the growth of the resale market, and fans have an overwhelming number of choices. FanSnap is helping fans find their 'perfect' tickets by offering comprehensive, accurate ticket search results and new fan-focused search features.''

The public beta provides an opportunity for fans to use the new features and give immediate feedback, which FanSnap will use to continuously improve the search engine. In private testing, the most popular element of the site has been the patent-pending FanSnap Maps, produced for top venues in New York, Chicago, Boston, LA, San Francisco, and Las Vegas. FanSnap is incorporating fan suggestions to fine-tune the dynamic map's features, and plans to produce the improved maps for all major venues across the U.S.

On FanSnap, a ticket search query such as red sox, ac/dc, or wicked returns actual ticket-level details that fans can compare across providers, unlike the general search engines, whose results are web site addresses. Once fans have made their ticket selection they are directly deep-linked into the ticket provider's shopping cart to complete the purchase.

FanSnap's industry-first features give fans the ability to: -- choose from a list of events using any or all of a number of criteria, including number of tickets and price range desired. -- view tickets for a series of multiple events (e.g., a baseball homestand, a multi-night concert performance, or a week of Broadway shows) all at once. -- determine at-a-glance the price distribution of available tickets for any event. -- determine at-a-glance the ticket price range by section using the colored heat map markers on our dynamic FanSnap Maps. -- zoom into the FanSnap Maps and see the ticket offers from numerous providers placed in clearly labeled rows. -- view at-a-glance comparable ticket offers from multiple providers in a simple comparison format. -- place ticket offers in a short list for easy comparison of ticket details and total prices (ticket prices plus fees or commissions) across ticket providers.

FanSnap's ultimate objective is to work with every ticket provider to provide fans the broadest possible choice. Ticket providers will benefit from a dedicated customer acquisition channel to help them sell more tickets.

James Holzman, President of Ace Ticket, offered, ''New England fans are some of the most passionate in America. Working with FanSnap allows us to efficiently market to those fans who are searching online for Red Sox tickets, Patriots tickets, Celtics tickets, Bruins tickets, or event tickets anywhere in the U.S.''

Steve Hafner, CEO of Kayak, travel search engine added, ''As a fan, it is really exciting to see the first truly robust consumer search application for the live event ticket space.'' Mr. Hafner is a member of FanSnap's Board of Advisors.

FanSnap is the live event ticket search engine for fans.
