The Web 2.0SM service is designed to allow customers to more easily access the latest news, tools and information. This agreement extends InfoSpace's multi-year relationship with Verizon Wireless. The combined offerings are hoped to provide mobile customers with faster, easier access to their favorite content and information, while increasing revenue opportunities for the leading wireless service provider. InfoSpace's relationship with Verizon Wireless includes key components of the platform's suite of services.
InfoSpace provides hosting, infrastructure and subscription management capabilities from its platform to power Verizon Wireless' Mobile Web 2.0 service, which offers subscribers an up-to-the-minute look at the latest news spanning weather, sports, entertainment and more.
